SYNOPSIS
ACTION Theatre is proud to present the premiere production of "Real Men, Fake Orgasms" by award-winning playwright Chong Tze Chien (PIE, Furthest North, Deepest South).
Till death do us apart, in sickness, in health, in prison and in transit…
These men don't get it. Caught in an emotional Siberia, two men leap frog across a continuum of different spaces and times to find each other to stay together. But fate hands them a rough deal of cards. Transposed to a prison break, an airport transit lounge, they know that departure is just around the corner. Having reached the finishing line of the jogging path in the park spells the end of the road in another parallel universe of an impending death and outstanding debts.
Different names and different lives later, they continue fighting fate and themselves, for a space and time for them to be two, and not one.
Beautifully layered, provocative and moving, "Real Men, Fake Orgasms" is one of the most original and exciting writings to have emerged from Singapore theatre in recent memory.

REVIEWS
“He brings about a fresh perspective of looking at life.” - Clarissa Lee, Popmatters (Review of “PIE to Spoilt”, a collection of plays by Chong Tze Chien)
“His writing shows that his understanding of the human condition is incredibly perceptive.” - Musa FAzal, Flying Inkpot (Review of Spoilt by Chong Tze Chien)
“I marvel at Tze Chien’s ability to construct some incredibly sparky moments… The play is essentially smart, funny, fast, furious and punchy, delivering lightning-speed swipes and strikes at places where it matters most. Moments and nuances come so quickly and subliminally that the play begets the urge for repeated viewing.” - Adele Tan, Flying Inkpot (Review of Is This Our Stop? by Chong Tze Chien)
